The last leg of our trip was for a little rest and relaxation at one of the ‘seven wonders of the world’, Victoria Falls in Livingstone, of the ‘Livingstone I presume?’ provenance.

We stayed at the Royal Livingstone Hotel right on the Zambezi River, and my understanding is that the Royals and the George Bush families always stay there too.  The approach from the water was magnificent.  We even got to see a few hippos!

Not quite lions and tigers, but definitely zebras, giraffes, and quite the run in with baboons. (READ: Baboons)

We had the obligatory helicopter ride over the falls, and the adventurous walk down to the basin pools.

Sufficiently rested, it was time to go home and see the dogs.
